7th Annual Business Development Awards Dinner

On May 22nd at the Seven Hills Restaurant, with more than 60 in attendance, the Suburban Essex Chamber of Commerce hosted their 7th annual Business Development Awards Dinner. This dinner, which is held during Chamber of Commerce week, is to acknowledge businesses that have developed or redeveloped existing properties, made a complete renovation or have made a significant improvement to the interior or exterior of their building. The evening opened with a word from the SECC's VP of Programs Joe Sandora, giving a rundown of the chamber's upcoming events and introducing the SECC President Jolie Ruffalo. Mrs. Ruffalo welcomed all in attendance especially the honored guests. She stated that she was happy to see the room f illed with our members to support the recipients of the 2003 Business Awards. Mrs. Ruffalo introduced Mayor McCarthy from Bloomf ield who congratulated the award recipients for citing their confidence in the business community. The awards were handed out speeches were made and everyone ate and celebrated another successful Chamber event!
