Over 50 years ago, John and Gerry Generazio started their insurance agency from the front porch of their Northern New Jersey home.

Working with one desk, a chair and the Yellow Pages, they began a business that has grown significantly since its start in 1971.

Today, Generazio Associates is licensed to operate in New Jersey, California, New York, Connecticut, Pennsylvania and a dozen other states throughout the East Coast.

Partnering with the most recognized insurance carriers, the firm does not restrict itself to a one-size-fits-all approach. Today, Generazio Associates is led by John and Gerry’s daughter, Michele Chierico, who serves as president, and her husband, Phil Chierico, in the role of senior vice president.
