OF 2006 SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS
The
Suburban Essex Chamber of Commerce held its 10th annual Business
Development and Scholarship Awards ceremony on June 8th at
The Chandelier in Belleville sponsored by the Brookdale ShopRite.
Every year, the chamber acknowledges businesses that have
made major capital investment and improvements to their property,
citing confidence in the local business community. This
year the recipients encompass the towns of Glen Ridge, Bloomfield
and Belleville. Recognition awards are given to both
members and non-members nominated by the Executive Board and
Board of Trustees. Business awardees from Bloomfield
are 12 Miles West Theatre Company, Bloomfield High School,
Divina Santos, DDS, Irie Dental Associates, LLC, Off the Ave
Café, Senorita's Mexican Grill, Subway Sandwiches,
The Provident Bank: Belleville are Forest Hill Hand Car Wash,
Franklin Street Car Wash, Micro Tech Training Center, River
Spirits Liquors, Symphony Printing: Glen Ridge is the Glen
Ridge Public Library.
