Our mission is to ensure that families living below the poverty level and low income in Essex County
have an adequate supply of diapers for their infants, toddlers and seniors.

MESSAGE FROM OUR FOUNDER
Having to decide between diapers for your infant or food is a familiar decision for families in Essex County who are living below the poverty level or at low income. As our economy begins to spiral downhill and our paychecks are getting smaller with the passing years; help is needed. Food pantries, Shelters and Transitional Homes are at an overwhelming high in Essex County.

Those small voices in our community who cannot advocate for themselves need us to talk! I discovered that there were no Diaper Banks supporting agencies in Essex County. At that point I knew this was my way of serving my community. Modestly Cover Diaper Bank of Essex County (MCDBEC) is the 1st Official Diaper Bank in Essex County.

In my heart I knew that the anti-poverty agencies in Essex County could use support in their efforts to wipe out diaper disparity. We are humbled to work with social service agencies and help them meet their unmet diaper needs. Let’s communicate with loud voices so that those small voices are heard where and when it counts!!
