My name is Arlene Martinez. I’m from Bloomfield, NJ, and here’s a little insider of how I became a Successful Businesswoman with a background in several fields. My interest and passion for Bookkeeping started when I was 17 years old. I was fortunate enough to have an experienced Bookkeeper take me under their wing and teach me a variety of skill sets which eventually led to me gaining their trust to do complex reports and manual payroll tasks. As I continued to build my knowledge and experience, I was offered the opportunity to elevate my skill set as a supervisor in reputable organizations in the retail and healthcare field. This opened the door for me to pursue entrepreneurial opportunities in the MLM space as an independent consultant with such companies as Paparazzi, Slumber Parties, Mary Kay, The Body Shop, and Avon since 2003. One of my rewarding and most successful experiences has been my growth as a leader, which I attribute to my many years in the retail industry as a Manager. I have a passion for helping small business owners grow and prosper, understanding the complexity of being one myself. As I continued this exciting career path, with an even stronger level of confidence and drive, I decided to take on my most exciting and challenging opportunity to date, being a commissioned Notary. Martinez Signing Group, LLC was established as a notary service in 2021. This alone opened so many doors for me to provide services such as Mobile Notary, Wedding Officiant, Loan Signing Agent, and Ink Fingerprinting, which has resulted in robust partnerships with Immigration lawyers, which is where I get most of my clients. Furthermore, one of the biggest challenges within all my businesses is marketing to grow my client base, trying to find the best way to advertise, and promote my business in a way that will benefit me and my valuable clients.
